Thing's I'm wrong about 06/15/2016

1.  I was wrong for accepting a floating position for an in home focus group. First and foremost because it requires that we have the house clean enough for guests.  Second because the floater position was taken away from a co-worker who told me that she was doing this Focus Group in the floater position on the day they scheduled me.

2.  I did not send a return envelope with Jose's lease. This will make it challenging for him to return the lease.

3.  We lost again at trivia. This was my fault because I can't remember pop culture figures from Modern Times. I also couldn't follow the monologue that was played on the loudspeaker because people were talking over it who were not involved in the quiz at the bar. I eat too much food at the bar.

Things I'm wrong about 06/14/2016

1.  Working with another condo owner to resolve a dispute about a tenant causing criminal damage to her property while the tenant violated the HOA's rules about throwing things, including cigarette butts from his balcony onto her deck.  Resolving the issue by thanking her for bringing the issue to our attention.  Resolving the issue by asking her for her phone number to set up a time for my construction manager to review the damages and replace the trexdecking planks that were burned by the thrown cigarette butts. I was wrong about that. I should have been confrontational and called her a LIAR and told her to pound sand.  I should have told the condo association that unless she could name names,  we were not accepting any responsibility for any damages.  I should have retained a lawyer and spent thousands of dollars disputing this issue. I should never seek to work with a community but should be openly hostile and litigous.

2.  I was vainglorious in my attempt to clarify a rules issue regarding the City of Chicago's minimum wage ordinance with someone from the Business Affairs and Consumer Protection Department. I used too many words to make my argument and I wasted my time and energy trying to clarify this rule that saves my company $1800 over the course of a year.  I did not threaten to fire the company we hired to do our payroll because they are insisting that we pay new hires the full minimum wage, but rather a training wage that is $0.50 less than the minimum wage in the city of Chicago. I wasted my time trying to get confirmation of the adult training wage exception.

3. I played the video game he got me for our anniversary last year that I really enjoy.  I enjoyed playing with another person online.  I had a conversation about game mechanics and how challenging the new scenarios were and how tedious they seemed when your were working alone to complete them.I stayed up past midnight having a good time.

4. I argued with him again and screamed til my voice was raw again.
